During the training, emphasis will be placed on addressing gender inequality, reducing discrimination, combating gender-based violence (GBV), and preventing violence against girls and women. The program also aims to promote economic empowerment and highlight the important role of sports in these efforts.
This training will last for six months, benefiting 100 girls. It is the first time in Somalia that such a training has been organized to encourage girls through football.
SOWJRA is strongly committed to preventing and fighting against violence and abuse targeting young girls and women.
