New Dawn for Somali Women, Somali Women Journalists Rights Association SOWJRA, shares celebrations with Somali women specially female politicians and other parts who did take part or supported the inclusion of women in political leadership, on the occasion of the historical victory of Sadia Samatar as the first female ever elected as deputy Speaker of Somali federal parliament, with a record breaking of 137 votes.
this seems that Sadia Samatar, who previously became famous in her whistle bowing against any suppression or anything unconstitutional, will pave a way for other Somali female leaders, to dare to ensure their impossible dreams come possible.
and at last see no discrimination boundaries in terms of higher political positions.
